Speaking Information

Important information regarding speaker proposals for CCW:

Nominating a speaker:
CCW is currently accepting end-user* speaker nominations for the 2012 conference program. Nominatons will be accepted on a rolling basis until the program is full.

To nominate a speaker email Liz Miller at liz@jdevents.com and include the speaker's name, title, company and brief biography.

CCW is the fall's premier conference and exhibition for media for media, entertainment and communications technologies and strategies.  Our attendees are interested in sessions that cover these technologies, as well as the trends and challenges facing our industry. The CCW conference program is divided into five tracks:

• Media & Entertainment
• Production/Post-Production
• IP Media, Streaming Media & Multi Platform Media
• 3D Content Creation, Distribution & Transmission
• Satellite Communications and Content Delivery

Vendor/Manufacturer Submissions:
Our program has very few if any vendor speakers or vendor white papers.  Vendors should instead propose end-user customers as speakers, and topics that are not product specific.   However, there are vendor sponsored (paid) speaking opportunities in the Sponsor Presentation Theater.  If you are interested in these please contact Michael Driscoll, mdriscoll@jdevents , or David Reynolds, dreynolds@jdevents. 

Review Process
Most submissions will receive responses shortly after they're received. Unfortunately, due to the number of submissions received, it may not be possible to respond to every proposal whether or not it has been accepted.

* End-users are defined as those with purchasing authority or purchasing influence who are currently employed by a broadcast/media/entertainment firm, military and government or a private sector company that uses information and communications technology (ICT) or media equipment and services, but does not sell these products, services, integration or consulting.
